The injury occurred during his impressive innings of 82 against Sri Lanka in Delhi on Monday.
Physio Bayjedul Islam Khan stated, "Shakib underwent an emergency X-ray in Delhi, which confirmed the fracture on the left PIP joint. Recovery is estimated at three to four weeks." Shakib will depart for Bangladesh today for rehabilitation.Despite a challenging World Cup run with three single-digit scores in six innings, Shakib's recent performance against Sri Lanka marked a turning point.
